About Me
I grew up in the Ponderosa Pine forests of northern California. My days were spent making forts in the woods, playing ‘Indians’ with my brother; collecting and grinding acorns, sipping up the honeysuckle from the Indian paintbrush, and otherwise exploring the wild unknown forests, as children do.
After I graduated university with a degree in journalism I enrolled in massage school, then practiced bodywork in spas, healing centers, and in private practice. I owned and operated a massage school for several years, finding joy and satisfaction in sharing and instruction in the art of Massage, Reiki, Ayurveda, Yoga, and Plant Medicine. My life has been deeply affected by the earth, always.
All throughout I have lived and breathed in the art and science of botanical medicine, herbology, wildcrafting, medicine-making, and wild food foraging, studying, and trekking with local herbalists and with any free time often sat surrounded by piles of herb books.
My interest in a high frequency diet and lifestyle led me to the raw food diet, and the concepts of wild food foraging and raw food, especially fruits, flowers, and medicinal herbs, and from there I was introduced to the concept of a Fruitarian lifestyle first by Douglas Graham and his book “The 80/10/10 Diet,” and from there to Dr. Robert Morse and his teachings on detox and the fruit diet, as well his book, “The Detox Miracle Sourcebook.” From there I was introduced to the art and science of Iridology, and trained in Detox Therapies and Lymphatic Iridology with Dr. Morse. Since then I have self-studied several other perspectives and branches of Iridology, including Farida Sharan, Denny Johnson, and Dorothy Hall, with Dr. Bernard Jensen’s work being the most relevant and thorough teachings on Iridology available, a literal living library of Iridology drawn from his lifetime of study.
I’ve found great pleasure and comfort in a deep connection to the planet, travels deep within her dark and light forests, misty and magical moments of pure joy, laughter, tears, and sorrow. In troubled times I’ve laid upon her with my belly upon her, my arms around her, my heart entrained to her tones and rhythm.
I walk in awe and wonder, my gaze transfixed on her perfect expression of the divine, her trees, plants, flowers, roots reflect the perfection and divine geometry of the Universe, mirroring our own perfection in human form, showing us clearly the return to our true nature, which is that of perfect health, the reclaiming of our sacred dna, the path home, is through her.
I hope that my connection and inspiration, my love and reverence for the trees, plants, flowers, seeds, and roots that grow within and upon our earth is somehow reflected in my voice when I speak, and that the plants and flowers I photograph and gather are shared with those whose lives may benefit, in these changing times, in all ways, with love.
