The Hija of Water embraces her feelings with the freedom of a child. When emotions overrun and overwhelm her, she reaches out for help. She remembers the many times she was given Chamomile tea when she was sad. She knows the medicine she needs, although she may not be able to prepare it on her own. Just as Chamomile's sweet scent calms anxiety and brightens the spirit, the child quiets her mind and gives herself permission to be playful with her heart. She embraces her dreams and often loses herself in imagination. (The Herbcrafter's Tarot)

There is a tendency here for deeper states of relaxation to reveal to an individual many levels of existence. This can be useful in past life regression work, especially when one is seeking greater spiritual understanding from the past. It is very useful for an individual to acknowledge fully and understand the power and force within the body. This is not always easily understood. Sometimes deeper relaxation leads to lethargy, but with chamomile this tendency is usually shifted. An individual feels more energy for a while after chamomile is taken. Energy directed towards a particular spiritual purpose is affirmed. The individual feels more inner peace. This is not simply because of its relaxing properties. There is greater clarity and current relationships, what you were doing with your life, and your inner spiritual purpose. On the higher spiritual level, there is a relaxation in viewing and working with energies that are seen to stem directly from God. This means that the psora miasm is eased, the understanding of God's laws is more acceptable, and the way these laws may be assimilated and worked with are enhanced.
The plant has a certain rate of growth associated with it that individuals and meditating with the plant for a while would perceive it as a different frequency than that of most plants. In Lemuria, this growth pattern was noted, and the greater ability of the plant to receive Lemurian thought form energy was also understood. This deep and powerful calming effect could be brought into the plant most easily.
